On a side note, no one seemed to mention how influential the Kunitz/Timmonen hit was on the outcome of this game. While it was awesome, and I mean awesome in the sense that I was watching the game alone and screamed Oh *$#@ loud enough for my entire apartment to hear, it consequently sent letang and kunitz to the box during two crucial powerplays. I guess we saw what happens on the PP without those two around (i.e. Eaton as the next best option on D.) Lets keep them both out of the box, and on the score sheet and not give the Flyers the key penalty box match-up swaps they are looking for.

I know that Sykora has not been producing, but I don't know if Satan is the answer. He has not been a strong playoff performer and he has not played at the NHL level for a long time. It would be hard to expect him to do much. Unless Sykora is hurt, I should think he will break out.

Adversity is not a bad thing. Of course we all wanted to rout the Flyers, but I love watching the Pens bounce back, and that's pretty much been the theme of this year's team, hasn't it? We all new Wachovia would be tough, and my goodness is that orange just an awful color to have to wear if you're a hockey fan. It makes all the redheads in the crowd stand out, which Hartnell must love. No way can Philly win 3 out of 4 with 3 more games in the 'burgh. When both teams play their best game, the Pens shine through. As a side note, right now Malkin looks like a god among men on the ice, a good look for him. Its about time to see if Satan can play better than Sykora of late, not a tall task really.

Go Pens!

As I stated in another post. Losses like this will show the true character of the Pens. I was hoping for one of two, so as long as we win the next one, I am fine.
