DR Hook’s 1st ANNUAL… Stanley Cup Predictions – (Any of that GYPSY left in your tank?)

Thanks all for participating in DR Hook’s 1st ANNUAL ‘PP Stanley Cup Predictions’ Contest.

A congratulations to Ron Malore squeaking it out over MS FORECZECH and Penguin871 by 2 points.  Krundle finished 4th just 6 points back.
What we kind-of proved here is that the so-called experts, using the same system as us, finished more like PenguinPOOP at the bottom of the ocean.  So, as we go on here at this site everyone should feel very comfortable that this is where the real POOP hits the fans!
FINAL RESULTS:
Expert-Gypsy PTS DET v PIT
Ron Malore 37 PIT in 6
MS FORECZECH 35 PIT in 6
Penguin871 35 PIT in 4
Phil Krundle 31 PIT in 5
STH35 30 PIT in 6
Scott Burnside 27 PIT in 6
Reg Dunlap 23 PIT in 6
KULT SKATER 23 PIT in 6

I’ve made my own notes in reagrd to who is who and where they are in this contest. I check ESPN’s preditions and think Matt Barnaby is the only one that has a chance to get that ROLEX from me BUT when are you going to post everyone’s predictions?

Should Disco Stu give credit to the Simpsons every time he uses that poster name! I think he should not. He even uses the character as his ICON a friggin rhinestone-encrusted leisure suit.
Whereas, me, I am the real F’in Shaggy! Mr Fantastic…. Mr Lover, Lover… She say I’m Mr Boom -Boom.
Lightnen up yer life guys – we are in the finals.
Frankly, the first time I saw that Fedontenko wasn’t practicing the other day was here.
    Boom -Boom -Boom.

Disco Stu – Ms. foreczech did copy the site you are talking about that information was all over the internet before 8am. Sounds like “your buddy” at the dobber site copied someone else. Who did he/she give the credit? So maybe next time you want to plug your “buddies” site you shouldn’t make false accusations. It makes you look…well from now on let’s just say it make you look disco stupid.

Oh, I get it. You took Disco Stu and added the word stupid onto the end it. That’s quite clever in a third grade kind of way, but clever none the less.

Trust me, I certainly wasn’t here to plug my “Buddy’s” site. He gets more unregistered visitors as guests on any given day than folks who ever visited this site since its inception.

And Mr. Buckle, as long as I’m looking stupid, could you please point out to me where in the original post, the source was cited? Maybe I am just stupid, but I can’t seem to see it in there anywhere. It’s kind of like responding to someone’s argument, by saying, “Yeah, but I read somewhere on the internet…..” Hell, without knowing where you got the info from, I could just assume you made it up.

Pretty sure that info wasn’t on the internet before 8:00 AM as the decision that Datsyuk wasn’t going to play wasn’t made until that morning.

And, hey Boobastic, sorry it’s too small for your eyes to read, but there is a TM logo in the bottom corner of the Disco Stu pic so yeah, Mr. Groening is being credited every time I post.

Disco Stupid (I didn’t think you’d get that one) – I asked who did your “buddy” attribute his post to or did he get all that information first hand?

Any picture you use without permission of the owner is stealing. The TM or Copyright on it means you cannot use it without permission, quite the opposite of what you think. What you are allowed to do it use limited portions of quotes for commentary or news reporting.

Ms Foreczech didn’t even get her information from the site that your talking about. You may want to look up plagerism, what she posted wasn’t even close to what your “buddy” copied from someone else.

You may want to try that link exchange thing up top before being an asswipe to someone.

Dobber runs a pretty decent FANASATY Hockey site and gets his info like everyone else on the NET – first hand experience! Speaking of Fanasty, I think Disco Stu is the one married to the lady with the French Maid outfit and he shows up like he’s the second coming of Ron Hextall! He may think that hockey is really the national pastime.

Still trying to figure out what a Fanasty site is because even spell check couldn’t help me with that one.

Wow, if you don’t even think this was close, then perhaps “Stupid” is the term we should be using to describe you

Dobber’s site: “Once again Pavel Datsyuk is questionable – but like I said, I don’t think we’ll see him until the Wings are in trouble ”

MsForeCzech: “Datsyuk is questionable; word is he won’t play unless the Red Wings are in deep doo-doo.”

Yep, now that you mention it, not even close.

That’s the one good thing about that Fanasty site, if anyone sends him info to post, he won’t do it unless you provide him with a source. I should know as I have sent him things I have found, and he always writes back asking for the source.

This place kind of seems like, “Hey, dudes, I heard from this guy who knows a guy who knows someone who works for the Penguins that Fedotenko sneezed this morning”

But, hey what do I know. I’m just some idiot who’s been attending Pens games for 38 years.

Think I’ll just go back to spending my time perusing sites where you can get real info with a homer’s slant to it as opposed to reading posts from some folks whose next line is usually, “Would you like fries with that?”

(Disco Stu). . . You were the gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that) “Village Idiot Productions” in Hockey’s Future that traded movie stars. I haven’t posted there for a long while but did so under this same poster name. You were pretty much considered general nonsense and a waste of bandwidth. Can’t recall you ever posting on the Penguin site but do recall people making fun of you. Where’s My Burrito Studios– sound familiar? LOL. And for someone who claimed to be from Canada you also seem to be pretty much a phony.

All of that information is almost verbatim on the ESPN site posted the day before you can tell this “dobber” stole it from there by the way he has (orbital bone) exactly the same. If she stole it from this idiot dobber then why does she have the “emergency appendectomy” and your “buddy” (I guess kutdacheez figured out what “buddy” means) doesn’t? DISCO STUPID!

Oh, and Ms. Foreczecho, if you post information, regardless of where you got it, without citing the source, it is plagarism. It is just a common courtesy that when posting info to cite where you got it from so that others A. Don’t think the info came from you, and B. can go there and see the info for themselves, but I’m gusseing from your response, that the term, common courtesy, isn’t in your vocabulary.

Posted on Dobber’s site at 8:00 AM on Friday, May 29:

Red Wings injuries: Nick Lidstrom will play in Game 1; Kris Draper will not play in the first two games; Jonathan Ericsson is “questionable” for Game 1; Tomas Kopecky (orbital bone) will not play at all in the series; Once again Pavel Datsyuk is questionable – but like I said, I don’t think we’ll see him until the Wings are in trouble (WHEN they’re in trouble – that’s right, I said it).

Pens in 4! I thought Jessevelvis was going to call the sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep again this time, I’ll call it.

Stu do you have a link to the verbatim stuff? That is pretty common information all over the internet. I’ve never heard of this site your talking about but I copied and pasted the stuff into google and about 50 close matches for the info came up including on the ESPN site, not one a dobber thing even when I included dobber in the search.

I don’t know who your buddy Dobber is or where s/he gets info but I hope s/he’s doing well. Fedotenko info from Hardcore hockey roundtable and the others from a few of he Detroit Blogs like YardBarker and redwings corner and main NHL web-site. Next time you want to accuse me of plagerizing why don’t you think twice, roll it up in a paper ball and stuff it in your vagina. Other than that – have a nice day & Go Pens.

Ms. Foreczech – Sounds like your update was copied word for word (Except for the deep doo-doo part) from Dobber Hockey’s site. No problem with posting the info, just like to see my buddy Dobber credited when his info is posted.

Pens in 5 or 7. We don’t win championships here in town

Penguins: Fedotenko is suffering from an undisclosed illness and was replaced by Dupuis on a line with Malkin and Talbot.
Red Wings:Lidstrom will play in Game 1; Draper will not play in the first two games; Ericsson underwent an emergency appendectomy but might play in Game 1; Kopecky will not play at all in the series; Datsyuk is questionable; word is he won’t play unless the Red Wings are in deep doo-doo. They’ll be in deep doo-doo by game 5.
