Yet, another $6.4 million to Kimmo Timonen and that's $24 million to really... just not good management decisions. This is why they also have players like Carcillo, Cote, Asham... the Carcillo acquisition being made because of what the Flyers claimed was to upgrade their fighting ability! This fruitcake fights alright... but has always been one shift away from taking a five-minute major that could lose a game for his team. Scottie Upshall and a 2nd round draft pick... IMHO it was more about Briere coming back and searching for cap space. It's not like Upshall was setting anything on fire but he and a 2nd round pick for what?? A loose caboose! The Pens likely will go with the same lineup and seeing Godard, Boucher and Satan on the ice for extra practice suggests that Godard sits. Why change anything. @ Justin37

I also understand that Mike Richards was upset with those players, especially Scott Hartnell. Stevens kept Hartnell on the bench awhile after his second penalty. Hartnell didn`t get it, and lost full control of his mind and instructions from Stevens. "Stay out of the penalty box." The Flyers mentality of intimidation is absolutely ridiculous, it doesn`t work and hasn`t for many years. Every time they give the Pens a power play, they are allowing the Pens in their end while they have the harder job in killing off the penalties. It not only gives the Pens the possession of the puck each time but disrupts the Flyers own offensive game and the time element to score their own goals. Even if we don`t score on the pp, it changes the game completely in our favor. I am in agreement that the Pens need to come out tomorrow night and pound the Flyers like they did in game one. The refs never called anything because of the time left. You have to admit that it would be real interesting if the game started with with Alberts and Asham having 1:19 left still to serve... Parent 1:24... Guerin and Coburn 4:53 on fighting majors.... Hartnell not able to get on the ice until 9:46 and whatever they determined Carcillo would get if the penalty would be called. The purists would buy into it but when you have coaches that are total a-holes that's the way you cure it.
