MALKIN get`s the win in OT for his friend Gonchar. Tells his dad “He loves him” during post game interview. Great kid, great win, and we`re going home up 3-2. It`s time to say goodbye to Varlamov and Ovechkin and Backstrom and Steckle, because that`s about all I`ve seen from the Caps. I wonder if Semin still thinks Crosby is overated? LOL!

By not giving ovechkin a suspension, the NHL has proven that they are more interested in TV rating than the actual health of their players. Colin Campbell and Bettman should be releived of their duties after the season for the sh*tty job they have done.

The Caps boards state that if they suspend Ovechkin, they will riot. What a surprise there. Shows the class of fans. They also compared Kunitz cross checking and Hal Gills supposed stick to Federov to the knee on knee incident. Come again?

Thank God I am a Pens fans. Oh yeah. Don’t all our politicians live there. Must be where they get their class.

The Stanley Cup brings players that ramp up their games. This series it’s Fedotenko and Scuderi – both have played above expectations. So has Gill. Also, how about a toot for Miroslav Satan who played a real good game. Ted Leonsis is a dot.com success story and quite frankly has a bigger ego than Ovechkin. His act would never play well in Pittsburgh.
The best part of this series is a GM who claims that Varlamov has a short period of excellence. A coach puts the rookie in over Theodore. What now?
The Gonchar incident is not good for anyone who wants to see the best vs. the best. And MO is that Ovechkin has a total disregard for other players. His passion for going after Russian players is really weird. I think that Boucher replaces Gonchar and although this injury is a blow – good teams rise above that. It makes Stanley Cup history stories. Orpik appears to be one PO’d defenseman right now. Notice no comments made about Bradley’s two hits (Letang and Orpik) with no call being made.
A little note on Letang too – you get hit and don’t like the no call – don’t sit on your ass and raise your hands like a dummy. Get in the game. Stop the moaning.
