Even before the game it was Crosby/Ovechkin this and Crosby/Ovechkin that. Not even one comment from the biased media. WHO IS NUMBER ONE IN POINTS. MALKIN!

Well Crosby is the face of the NHL and Ovechkin is the Media’s love child.

The NHL will look stupid once again if the games goes into a second overtime. Losing a nationally broadcast game to horse racing once again. They need to sign better contracts with the TV stations. Melrose picked the flyers to win the first round – it’s no wonder he can’t hold a job.

While it is indeed a “longshot” (pun intended) that the game will go to a few OT’s—- if it does then NBC will PO every hockey fan other than in the 2 markets. NBC also shut down the Pens fans from seeing the outdoor broadcast. Just not a smart decision in my humble opinion. This is the most popular of the second round games I would think. The NHL has to hope it doesn’t go into a few OT’s either.

Ted Leonsis posts (in his own website, Ted’s Takes) something about Cap fans not keeping a positive vibe going and then links some guy on their main website who says, ‘Stick a fork in them’ LOL. Leonsis is always about keeping his face at the forefront of everything going on. Leonsis should bathe more often.

There’s an article in today’s P/G of how Penguin fans living in the DC area have been shutout from buying tickets. Trust me… they find a way in.
Ovechkin quoted, “We have more physical guys than Pittsburgh. We’re bigger. We’re stronger.” And, Krundle… your right, Malkin is just in the background with all this going on watching his name being put on the Art Ross Trophy. As for NBC… the chances of a 1 PM game heading into 6:45 PM is rather slim. Yet, STUFF HAPPENS.
