While I believe the attention is focused on Malkin more now than the regular season . . . it should be. Sykora or not he’s got to step it up notch. Also, Sykora to be of worth he has to play on the PP. He didn’t get on the PP until the end of the game and if you noticed he did get an assist.

The whole Malkin thing is hillarious – they only talk about him when he doesn’t score. The media didn’t say a word about him when he was leading the league.

What a disappointing loss. Hate to be down 2-0. However, we can do it! The key is POWER PLAY, POWER PLAY, POWER PLAY! We definitely need the next two at home.

I refuse to blame what is happening on Malkin like so many people. Why is everyone blaming Malkin for the lack of production. He may not be putting the puck in the net like we had hoped, but I don’t think he is playing poorly. He is all over the ice. His linemates are sure not helping him much. I would like to see him shoot more on the PP, but I don’t think these losses are his fault.

I can’t believe that not a word was said about the phantom Kunitz hit on the ovechkin dive or the trip on Cooke off the faceoff, and yet somehow the NHL wonders why the only contract they get is on a third rate cable channel. It’s because no-one watches once their team is eliminated because they are pissed at the poor officiating.
