The Canes are not coming back, and what we are seeing is the final stage of development for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
What started with the drafting of Fleury, Malkin and then Sidney Crosby, has reached the point where the "dynasty" talk could have some potential now. It was last season when this very young team out-performed everyone in the eastern conference to make it to the SC finals. With all the controversy surrounding this season with the coaching change, it looks to me that the Pens organization and it`s GM, Ray Shero knows exactly what they are doing. I say it`s a sweep in Carolina tomorrow night, and then let`s get that dynasty talk started with this teams first Stanley Cup since the early 90`s.

The Joe Corvo interview looked as if he had just awaken from a three-day binge on José Cuervo. The Pens are simply wearing these guys down just like they did the Flyers and Capitals. The Pens just seem to have an ability to force their style of game on their opponent. Ward is looking over his shoulder even when he makes the save. Two goals in the final minute of the 1st period can't make for a happy locker room. Just like in Game 2 - the Pens scored with 7 seconds left in the 2nd period. These Canes look really tired. Even LaRose looks spent. If Bill Cowher has the want (and need) to grind that Hurricane siren he'd better hop to it REAL FAST.
Also, just for the record - Mike Yeo's PP is outperforming Ron Francis' PP. The Staal brothers finished a combined MINUS 5. Philippe Boucher got a bit of revenge for the cheap smack on Letang in Game 2. And, let's not talk dynasty's until we actually win something.

Let's go PENS! FIVE WINS AWAY!
