Who would have ‘thunk’ it. Crosby gets less than 10 minutes of ice time – Eaton, Gonchar, Letang, Scuderi, Orpik, Gill combine for a grand total of 1-shot on goal – and as they walk through the line shaking hands you really have to think if Hossa would have paid half of that salary to take back that backhanded slap. But, he walked through the line which is much better than some basketball player superstar did. Hockey is a special sport and as much as we had fun poking it to Hossa you have to feel for those Penguins who didn’t have to say a thing. Sometimes that’s the best message sent. This is a team that is truly something special. The way the handed off the CUP was special and some of these guys – Gill, Scuderi, Guerin, Fedotenko, Sykora, Satan, Adams, Garon – may not be around next season as the salary cap plays a major factor in the player decisions.
I’m looking forward to the PenguinPoop and how the follow the draft, free agency, trade rumors during the off season. It should be interesting how Shero and Mario keep this team together. I personally don’t think I could have taken another game.
Also congats to Ron Malore for eeeking me out of winning DR Hook’s rolex watch!

Hossa says it’s a “matter of making choices”—- really???? Smacking his teammates in the face whether any will admit it or not was a driving factor in this final series. Notice, that other than Stealth not one visitor has shown their face. Of course their is still time———> like one-year! Way to go Penguins. And, thanks Hossa for contributing by choking.
