Gameday Poop: Penguins vs Capitals – Steroids Steroids Steroids

The Washington Capitals are under investigation once again for being involved with steroids. US Marshals were at the Washington Capitals training facility investigating.  Dr. Doug Nagel who may or may not be the Capitals chiropractor was arrested yesterday.  The Capitals are saying “(Dr. Doug Nagel) is not affiliated with the Washington Capitals and is not the team chiropractor, as he has stated, Dr. Nagel’s office, however, has seen some of our players for standard, routine chiropractic services.”

The sign on Dr. Doug Nagel’s door that says he’s the Capitals team chiropractor and his website that has mysteriously removed the part were it said “team chiropractor for the Washington Capitals” a week or so ago along with the many websites like this one “CHHC Sports Medicine, Dr. Nagel” that they haven’t deleted yet that still says “Dr. Nagel is the team chiropractor for the Washington Capitals” right dead smack in the middle, tend to disagree with that statement.

Though I must say I don’t really know what happened but my guess is that the Capitals broke affiliation with him so that they could make that statement.  They did state that some of their players do use Dr. Nagel’s facility. Throw that in with the fact the the US marshals were at the Washington Capitals practice facility as part of the investigation and a lot of suspicion creeps up into my mind, it’s almost like the Capitals aren’t mentioning everything in their press releases.

I did do a little research into steroids and found out the symptoms: Users may exhibit uncontrolled aggression and violent behavior called “roid rage,” in addition to severe mood swings, manic episodes, and depression. Moreover, users may suffer paranoid jealousy, extreme irritability, delusions, and impaired judgment from feelings of invincibility.

I’m really looking forward to tonight’s game between Crosby and Ovechkin.

On a completely separate subject that has absolutely 100% nothing to do with the steroids above. Ovechkin has seen his share of trouble since he shook hands with Crosby after Crosby ousted him from the Olympic Medal rounds. He has twice been video taped aggressively smashing peoples cameras for which he was sincere and apologized afterwards and he got suspended 2 games for violently drilling a Chicago defenseman’s head into the boards during a game for which he was very remorseful afterwards.  Sometime’s I just think Ovechkin needs to use better judgement.

Malkin will most likely be sitting this one out tonight with his bruised foot.

Gametime is 7pm and can be seen in high definition at the Verizon Center or on FSN Pittsburgh.

  1. Boy ol fat ted will do anything for a cup. i hear there claiming that they don’t know this chiropracter guy. he has an office right in there building. sounds pretty handy to distribute steroids to me. and tell me they didn’t know this was coming – they removed the chiropracter of the capitals from the dr.s website a week before. it’ll probably take a week till the caps run out of steroids if this didn’t scare them enough now to stop. wander what fat teds take will be on the playoff failure this time?

  2. They have named 3 Capitals players so far that “USE” Dr. Nagel –
Matt Bradley, Eric Fehr and Shaone Morrison. I’m sure there are more to come.

    1. Now that Dr. Nagel guy is saying that he used all the purchased steroids himself and won’t give up names. If he did that he’d be dead. I guess we have to wait until he writes a book in a few years to know which Capitals are actually using steroids.

  3. The need to put an asterik on the Presiden’t Trophy just like they did Barry Bonds homerun ball! Another sign of steroids is excessive facial hair – look at the hair growing on oveckins upper cheeks – definite steroid use.

  4. The Capitals are saying they are not the a target in the investigation. Then why were all of the investigators at your practice facility? So you are saying the guy in Florida said he was selling roids to Capital players, they arrested your team chiropractor and they stopped the investigation there and are not checking to see if any of that is true? 100 buckaroos says the steroid 8 is taking them.
I like what Kult Skater said – If Dr. Doug isn’t the team chiropractor, then who has been the team chiroprator for the last 2 years? and how about letting us know which players used Dr. Doug. This is a cover up.

  5. Phil, why beat around the bush??? Ovechkin is on steroids. Everyone knows it. Just like Mark Mcguire & Barry Bonds. Why won’t anyone just come out and say what we all know is true?
