Bob McKenzie is now reporting that St. Louis is making Brad Boyes available. Boy, wouldn’t he look good on Malkin’s wing except I doubt we have enough to give them in return. I don’t think it was that Shero valued Leopold mre than Sutton. It was just that Sutton’s cap hit would have put the Pens over the limit with just sending a 2nd round pick back to the Isles.

Don’t think we could have had Chelios. He was playing for Atlanta’s farm team, and that’s why they got him.

Anyone happen to notice that MARK EATON is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season???? He is currently taking in 2 million a year and might be looking for Scuderi like moola. He could be the gonner here.

They are sitting Jay Mckee tonight to play Leopold. I wouldn’t read anything into this other than the Pens will be making a defensive move and it most likely now does not involve Jay Mckee. You don’t bench someone you want to get something for. I think with how hard he plays and the shots he blocks, it’s best he gets as much R&R as possible before the playoffs.
