I seriously can't figure out why Rupp is the first guy to get scratched. This guy plays hard and physical, does all the dirty work, will drop the gloves and shows a decent scoring touch.

Good point on the mock cheer. I was disappointed by that. Overall it is hard to argue with the intensity of the crowd.

They always say that in big games, "Your best players have to be your best players", and that was never more true than last night. Crosby, Malkin, Fluery and Orpik just dominated the play from the opening face-off (Ottawa's goal on the fist shot not withstanding). At no point did I ever feel Ottawa was going to win that game because the Pens' best players were just not going to let it happen. And a big thank you to Mr. Sutton for waking the Pens out their slumber unleashing a s**t storm of hurt on the Senators.

Thank god they put Rupp back in the lineup. Watching him and Talbot go at the Sens at the end of period let me know that the Pens are back! Sutton's hit woke the sleeping giant Penguin. If anyone ever questions whether Crosby's motivated ever again I will probably kick them in the nuts. He was insane last night. I haven't been that pumped about a hockey game since last year.

The first goal on fleury was a great shot yet a goal that should have been stopped. Kudos to the defense for their play after that only giving up 20 shots on goal and keeping the net clear. I'm not a big fan of the mock cheer the fans gave Fleury on his first save, whether it was deserved or not
