The Pen’s coaching staff doesn’t need to keep notes on how they run the PP. If they forget all they need to do is call coaches of our opponents and they’d be glad to remind them what they’ve been doing.

What’s hard to believe is that a little while ago we were talking about Goligoski on the Olympic team. We’ve been through this stuff before but not with a core player like Malkin looking so third line center!
Maybe we need Momma Malkin and the Russian Beet soup to the rescue, eh.

Blockhead is getting to be a fair and balance description. Malkin and Crosby do play the best in the same spot. Moving either of them makes one of them less effective. I think we are seeing clearly this isn’t about Mike Yeo.

Guillaume Latendresse has 8 points in his last 4 games. He’s only 22 and at 6′-2, 230 maybe Montreal gave up on him too early.

As to the PP it all is on DISCO DAN right now. DR Hook suggested the two units (like Montreal) since last season but 0 for 6 another fruitless 5 on 3 – come on. When will DISCO DAN see that Malkin and Crosby play the best in the same spot on the PP. Malkin’s game has gone in the toilet since being moved on the PP. Worse, when the PP doesn’t produce we watch a tired best 5 players sucking wind for a few shifts extra. Hopefully GAWD doesn’t strike me down but DISCO DAN is now looking like BLOCKHEAD DAN right now.
