Sidney Crosby took batting practice at PNC park today along with some teammates. Here’s the video of Crosby knocking one out of the park and into the river:

Ball hit the steps about 6 rows down and bounced out of the park. Was traveling fast so it could have went in the river, but not without a bunch of bounces. Still a great hit.

Sid said the only reason he hit it out of the park is because he’s left handed… maybe the Pirates should sign all left handers since it’s that easy. I also doubt that made it to the river, but with his luck it could have.
I had to watch it a few times, but I don’t think it went into the river. You can see it bounce off of the black thing with the Pepsi logo on it at the 16 second mark.
I heard Crosby was going to sign with the Pirates but he was offered Nutting.
