OK, Savard’s concussions aren’t something to joke around about. The one last year was severe and kept him out the whole season. You don’t fake concussions.

Yesterday, he was diagnosed right off the bat with a moderate concussion. Remember, Sid was initially only diagnosed with a mild concussion. If anyone can sympathize right now, it should be Pens fans. This could be career-ending for Savard, some compassion is only appropriate. The guy may not only lose his livelihood, but who knows what kind of permanent damage has been done.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from seeing players like Stevens and Roenick speak out years after their playing careers ended, and the number of reported concussions increase in recent years, it’s that this is an issue and injury that cannot be taken lightly.

It’s all just too ridiculous not to make light of (the circus, not the injuries). Sadly, that journalist still thinks he’s right. Though, he declared it his opinion a day or two later, but kind of stuck by one of his sources, but refused to take back his opinion…then wondered why everyone was confused.

Glad it got some laughs!

Absurd is right. I thought the aliens and tin foil hats would give it away, or Jordan negotiating with his brothers, or that I said it should have been written in my sarcasm font…or that all my sources were top secret and I could come up with a new conspiracy tomorrow. Or calling it all BS.

Apparently I didn’t do a good enough job of making it over the top. Especially combined with my last post of how these stories coming out of the Canadian media about when Sid’s concussion took place and him protesting the ASG were crap.

I’m going to bang my head against the wall for a while.

i think its absurd these accusations you put on Crosby. He lives, breathes, eats, bleeds HOCKEY. I highly doubt he would stoop to such a level. And you as a supposed penguins fan should be highly ashamed of yourself.
