But it didn’t seem to bother them the first two periods. And, the fact that it came down to the last 3 1/2 minutes is what kills me. A penalty and disappearing defense.

That being said, it is about the bigger picture. This team can’t place the whole season on Sid’s shoulders.

I hate to provide excuses for them, but it seems maybe the flu is going sround the locker room, several players have missed practice and games the last few days.

I do agree that everyone needs to step it up and play a full 60 minutes, especially Malkin who I believe will have a big game. Tonight is very important to the team, it just looks bad if they can’t win without Sid.

The Therrien video is an all-time favorite of mine, I can watch that over and over.
