Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE this team. With the possible exception of the 91-92 Cup winners, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Pens team fight through more adversity … or show more heart and soul. It’s just that they’re SO banged up. Without Sid, Geno and to a lesser extent Jeffrey, I just don’t know if they have enough skill up front to make a run at the Cup.

We definitely have had some bad luck with injuries this year. However, I still think we have a good core and players who will fight to win. Even if Crosby does not come back. Next year if everyone is healthy…WATCH OUT!
