  • Jason Arnott has been traded to the Washington Capitals.
  • Dustin Penner has been traded to the Kings for Colten Teubert, a 2011 1st round pick and conditional 2012 pick.
  • Vancouver gets Max Lapierre from Anaheim for Joel Perreault and a 3rd round pick.
  • Ducks acquire F Brad Winchester from St. Louis for a 3rd round draft pick.
  • It is confirmed that Carolina sent Sergei Samsonov to Florida for Bryan Allen
  • Bryan Allen D Florida is reportedly going to Carolina for possibly Sergei Samsonov.
  • First trade of the day: Atlanta acquires F Radek Dvorak from the Panthers for F  Patrick Rissmiller and F Niclas Bergfors

    TSN is reporting that Penguins forward and fan favorite Max Talbot has been traded to UPMC for veteran Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mitchell Antin of Southside. The trade is also rumored to score 2 wheelchairs, boxes of rubber gloves, and some salve for Ray Shero’s ailing Penguins.
