Video: Making Sense of How the NHL Dishes Out Fines & Suspensions

I know people were upset about John Carlson from the Washington Capitals not getting a suspension or even a hearing for throwing his elbow through Matt Cooke’s head.  So I thought I would make a video to explain how the NHL works to try to dispel fans anger.

That is 100% how the NHL divies out fines and suspensions. They don’t have a clue. Cooke got a huge suspension because it was televised nationally and the announcers made a huge stink about it. It’s all BS and here we are with a bunch on Pens out with concussions. Make the fines a minimum of 3 games + if the player you injured is out longer with the injury you delivered. You sit until that player comes back. That will stop it.
