Man, you all need to keep your day jobs. The Pens got beaten bad. Yes, they did score 10 in one of the games, but that one win did not change the tides. Look for the Flyers to win the Stanley Cup after a very long drought.

I realize that this is a Pittsburgh site, but, noot even ONE correct prediction? Not one? I am guessing you all did exactly what the Pens did……underestimated the Flyers and forgot about how cheap your own players can be…….refer to game 1 thru 3 to see what I am referring to.

I never make predictions. I suck at it. I do believe the Pens have the better team, though in the past few weeks the D has been suspect. For me, that’s the key: the D can’t be suspect starting Wednesday. Also, since this is the playoffs, all regular season stats and tendencies are null and void — except that both times the Pens beat Philly this season, the Flyers phoned in the last periods. I doubt they’ll do that in the post-season. So…

My Power Points:
1 – Play solid defense for 60 minutes and especially keep Hartnell’s ass out of Fluery’s face.
2 – Stay out of the box. If you must get pissed, go break your stick in the hallway.
3 – Fore check relentlessly. Play the game at your end of the ice.
4 – Secondary scoring, the earlier the better.
5 – Fluery MUST out play Bryz and Bob. If we perform items 1-4, we’ll probably face both of them.

And two other minor, but no less important, points: There’s a reason D-men get time on the power play. If you don’t believe that just ask your goal tender; and, fine any player caught attempting highlight reel behind-the-back and drop passes. There’s no award for style points.
