Yes, Joey, you count as a reader, too … Good comments, by the way. This is one of those (rare) games when I wish the Pens still had a Rupp or Eric Godard. Asham and Engelland are as tough as they come, but if they have to fight a Rupp or a Scott I’m afraid they’ll be overmatched.

Phil, I didn’t see the video. But from the accounts I read it sounds like “Big Mac” went absolutely bonkers …

I gotta agree with 55 On Point. Enforcers like MacIntyre are quickly becoming dinosaurs in the modern league. The tough guys have to be able to contribute in other ways, too, and I don’t think MacIntyre can do that in a one-game stint. The Pens already have the two-way toughness needed to win games (obviously) and whoop up on opponents, so all Mac will do is sit a potential goal scorer and maybe give the Rangers a few PP opportunities they otherwise might not have had. I have faith that our current line-up can get the job done. Oh, and do I count as a reader if I’m also a writer? I have all kinds of opinions! Haha…
