I think Bylsma should take a page from Babcock's book. Let the defensive players shoot the puck in. Maybe some rebounds or icing, putting the puck in '-front -'of the net. Letang & Niskanen. And 3 ,4,5 goals win games.Defense!!!

Maybe we could stick MacIntyre in the slot in front of Marc-Andre Fleury. That should discourage the Flyers from venturing anywhere near our net. (Just a little stab at humor.)

On a more serious note, since none of the Flyers are likely to challenge “Big Mac” (I doubt if they’ll dress Jody Shelley) I don’t know how much value he’d be. He’d certainly serve as a reassuring presence, and that might help settle his teammates down and allow them to concentrate on hockey. And I actually thought he played reasonably well (for a heavyweight) in the season finale.

Still, I can’t imagine that Dan Bylsma would use him for more than a shift or two. Plus, there’s always a chance that Jeffrey, Tangradi or Vitale might score a big goal.

On a side note, I didn’t want to get caught up in yesterday’s range war. But I applaud your comments.
