The Penguins are now?only 65 games under 500 while wearing the ugly pansy powder blues:? I’m thinkng we only wear them when we play last place teams.? They seemed to lull the Isanders to sleep yesterday.? Heck they lulled the crowd asleep, that was the quietest I’ve heard it at the igloo in years.
They have now won?3 out of?8?this year?(4 of?9 if you include the Winter Classic) as a third Jersey?and overall they are: 96-162-58.? Hopefully they bag these for the season and for good.? Pittsburgh is Black and Gold, not pansy blue.? If you like them, figure skating may be a better sport for you.
And ah yes, It still looks good on you though.
As bad as the media have made out the game (and the powder-puff blue sweaters) the Islanders just shut-out New Jersey and Danis is one of the hottest goalies right now. PITT isn’t black ‘N gold and they seem to be doing OK.
Trust me – it’s not the sweaters.
